I love books. It’s just that simple. I love to open a new book and sniff the fresh ink inside. As a graphic designer, my favorite projects are mixing images, words and photographs of life experiences to tell a story. In this digital age of having a phone full of photos, nothing can replace the tactile quality of holding a book full of photographic images and sharing these memories with friends and family.
I have a passion for storytelling, archiving and preserving memories through printed material. I started Compendium as a way to bring stories to life for people. Your imagination is the limit to the kind of book I can create for you. Each book I create is unique, (no templates here!) and I treat your project with same process as with my corporate clients. All books begin with a start up meeting, where I begin to understand what story you want to tell. After that, I show a few sample pages to make sure I’m heading in the right direction. I’ll complete the book, send a pdf proof for you to review and then send it off to be printed. You can decide to print one book or many books to share. I partner with Blurb for printing because of their streamlined print process using industry standard software, and overall quality and attention to detail.
